Foo Fighters are scheduled to perform at the VMAs in Vegas on September 9th . I saw this on perez hilton's website and i'm sure it can be found on mtvs

"Timberlake, West, Rihanna and Winehouse will also perform at the event, along with a full house of kings and queens that includes Timbaland, Fall Out Boy, Chris Brown, Lily Allen and the Foo Fighters performing with special guests live from the Palms Fantasy Suites. Timbaland will also be serving as the evening's musical maestro, with superstar DJ Mark Ronson on the decks — and Timbaland and Timberlake will be hosting their own own Fantasy Suite party."

The nominees for the 2007 MTV Video Music Awards were announced earlier today.

And, now, the first wave of performers for the big show, airing live from the Palms Hotel in Las Vegas on September 9th, have also been revealed.

The acts include: Timbaland, Foo Fighters, Kanye West, Fall Out Boy, Amy Winehouse, Rihanna, Lily Allen and Chris Brown.

One of these things is not like the others....

Ew. The other acts are horrible. I don't know if the Foo are worth sitting through that garbage. I'll just watch it on youtube when it comes or whensomeone posts a link on the boards.

either the last performance or the opening one so i dont have to sit through the whole 3-4 hour show
and i plan on tivo-ing the whole thing so i can fast forward through all the people i dont like

kanye west might be ok, but other than that its only crap. and those mtv guys KNOW that a lot of people are watching only because of the foo fighters, so they might put them way out in the show just to keep viewers.

That's cool that they're going to be performing at the VMAs. They're going to be the only reason that I'll be watching it, because all of the nominees practically suck except for the White Stripes.
