Meat subsitutes are generally full of soya and mycoprotein, and will pack you out as if they're rammed with monosodium glutimate. They're also shit.

For this recipe, chop the potatoes into cubes about 3cm x 3cm x 3cm and par-boil them. Whilst they're boiling, make your sauce with 1 teaspoon full of paprika and half a teaspoon full of cayenne pepper and a pinch of oregano. For the tomatoes, either blend vine ripened fresh tomatoes (remove the water and pips first) or use a decent can of plain tomato cooking sauce. Add the spices and potatoes, then bake in the oven for about 20-30 minutes so the flavours can bond. Garnish with half a teaspoon of creme fraiche and some black pepper.

You're already in the car, aren't you? :D

This thread is getting like the blonde joke thread. In other words, half of the people whom I like to interact with seem to just stick to this one thread, thus rendering the board in general a quieter place. Pull your fingers out :(

Not guilty, your lack-of-honour.

How's things??
I'm suffering from a baaaad post-gig syndrome, I just can't concentrate and can't work...
I went to see QOTSA in Bologna the other day... Poor Josh Homme was soooo ill, looked like he just wanted to finish the gig as soon as possible to go to sleep. They played a song straight after the other, we got no encore, but they played INFINITY (hahaha only me and a couple of friends of mine seemed to know that song) and HANGIN TREE, so I'm super happy. :)

Take a look at the GRAN FINALE of the gig, I found this video on youtube... Josh literally collapsed on the drumkit... and smashed his guitar!!!!!

Them Ultra-GP's are damn near priceless... there was only something like 400 ever made and he has three (one black, one cherry and one red) so couple the fact that they're extreme limited edition and that Josh used them - they're worth a fucking fortune!

However, anyone sane wanting one (ie, me) would get the Eastwood replica (http://www.eastwoodguitars.com/GTRs/eastwood-GP/images/GP-big/eastwoodGPcherryburst.jpg).

It's a combination of that... his guitar which is unique and very trebley... but most of Josh's guitar power comes from his Ampeg SVT amps. They're pretty much some of the most powerful amps ever made.

TBH I don't think they do it as a warm-up in the UK. I think they do it as an ego boost. I mean, they're professionals. They're warmed up before they hit the road.
