nah 2 unlimited was early 90s - that was the Snap, Corona, 2 unlimited era.

I was later than that - Faithless, Paul Van Dyk, Moby, Chicane, that kind of stuff.


My mum got me into Queen a lot. She also loves The Who, Beatles and Zeppelin, who always confuses me, as she plays the oboe in a local orchestra, so i never see her as liking 'rock' music. My dad is quite a bit older, so he's much more into folk and motown etc. But he also has a soft spot for Cliff Richard and Abba, which is weird (thus i know more Cliff songs than is healthy). He did get me into The Beach Boys though, kudos for that.

I got into Blur, , Foos, Radiohead, Pumpkins etc through school/myself. Got into Oasis, Stone Roses et al from living near Manchester. Branched out into more laidback stuff like Jeff Buckley and Morcheeba and the like at uni. I've a pretty eclectic taste.

I don't blame you chook, I'd be lost without my phone (well, we don't have a landline any more so we'd literally be lost :D) How many times have you had to replace it, three was it? You need to go to a consumer advocacy group, or at least threaten to dob them in, that's very very shitty customer service.

I've had one replacement handset (the one coming tomorrow/monday) will be the second.

and I've had 3 new batteries.

The problem is, they're actually really helpful...I know it's not their fault that the phone is shit... but it is getting a little bit ridiculous that I'm ringing them up every 2 weeks with problems.
Hopefully I won't have anymore though.

mine does something similar, and i found out the solution on the net to take the batter out and give the phone a whack! and it worked!

try doing a google search, there's lods of phone forums you can check to see if there's a solution

The gig was brilliant, Sting's voice is even better than it was in Birmingham, but of course I was there for Stewart, and he didn't disappoint. I know. I lost a fair few from the Sports Personality thread, and the last Footie thread, but the day this thread goes down is the day we all revert back to fresh fighters.
