Yeah, the car didn't look that quick tbh, though [like Alain Prost] maybe it's because it was so well controlled. I reckon it could go faster though, it seemed to jink out during turn 1 and the Hammerhead.

Yep, didn't look as quick as the koenieggekksesseegggooeellgghhgiiggssehh with top gear wing but much more stable in the corners, much less oversteer.

I'm not sure... I haven't been to Donington since it was still Monsters of Rock, and just a one day event. Aside from people falling down drunk before mid-day, the atmosphere was really nice. One thing you could always say about rock/metal fans years ago was that they were a pretty tolerant bunch when it came to different sub-genres, and there was hardly any trouble. There were campsites, though I never used them, and I don't know how official they were.

A week or so back, I stumbled across the Download forums, and had a look around. There seemed to be quite a few people saying the atmosphere of the festival had changed. That there were heaps of drunken morons going around starting fights and fires. The emo kids seemed to be coming in for particular abuse (remember that MCR were headling the Friday...)

If FF are playing, I might try to get a day ticket, but it would have to be the mother of all line-ups before I went for the full three days. Based on what I've read, and a couple of things friends (who went this year) have said to me, I'd watch my back ;)

I went this year and i can't believe how over exaggerated some people's accounts get. This one isn't too bad although "watch your back" is a bit over the top I feel. I went without about 5 other friends and none of us had any trouble and everyone seemed particularly nice! the only thing to watch out for is people pissing on your tent while they are drunk. it does happen which is a shame but aside from that it is quite a good atmosphere. (you get the odd idiot and the typical bottle throwing thing but thats at every festival)

When I got to the police station my dream when in to cartoon mode and Bart Simpson was there being tested on a bike.

Very modern, quite a big stadium (Manchester City play there)... it holds just under 50,000 people for football but 60,000 for concerts.

The more I think about it... not only do I not fancy Wembley, I don't even know if I fancy this. Taking a day off work to undoubtably be subjected to a day of fag bands and anal intrustrusion from StuTwoFiddy. :(
