No, Virgin and Jetstar have brought prices down drastically; Naja and I are going Melbourne-Brisbane-Sydney-Melbourne for the Gimmes tour, for less than $250. Which is about 100 quid.

I'll most probably wont be able to say for sure until next month as I'm handing my notice in at work next week and I need to make sure that any new job would be cool with the dates. I shouldn't imagine that it would be a problem but best to be safe.

Now I just have to find my Kris card for my membership number to see if I'm still able to redeem my miles.

Sometimes you have to buy your contract out and they'll let you do that at the lowest tariff cost, so it might still be worth it... depends how long you have left! I hate all this 18 month bollocks. 12 months I can commit to, 18, not so much.

Up until a few months ago contracts that were signed up for on line were not legally enforceable due to the fact that there is no signature. That goes for everything not just phone contracts. When I worked in insurance, I had a guy get away with a huge bill because of this exact issue. I'm pretty sure that all contracts that were taken out before a specific date are still subject to this.

If you are finding things really hard, depending on the date of signing, you may be able to have the contract voided.

Once you are speaking to them tell them that you want a deadlock letter to take to the ombudsman if its not resolved.Do also mention that you didn't sign any thing 9 times out of 10 they will fold as the ombudsman costs something silly like £360 for a complaint Werther its upheld or not. Its in there interests to give you what you want as I can almost certainly guaranty that they will not be able to provide evidence that you were able to access T & C's at time of purchase and the ombudsman will most probably find in your favor and tell them to provide you with compo as well, so they will be out nearly £700 as opposed to just you next few months charges.

An independent adjudicator that you go to if you cant resolve an issue with a company.

They normally want to see all evidence and if the company cannot provide it (which they usually cant in issues like this) they usually find in favor of the customer. I think that Otelo are the ones that O2 deal with.

Hello!!

I went to the O2 this evening to see Take That. They were fab. :D

Samuel went to the vet today to get checked over. He might have been born with an illness because lop rabbits are more susceptable to illnesses which explains the fits he had last night but he's been put on some medicine and had an injection today to make him feel better. He's acting normal this evening and is as mischievous as ever. He's also pooing everywhere which is good because he's not constipated anymore but also bad because it smells. :(

I'm just happy he's feeling better today though. The vet fees weren't that expensive either. Was about £55 for the consultation, injection and medicine which I thought was pretty fair. It's going to be hard for me to get him some insurance now though.

This is radiohead. They put an allocation through on their website today without warning. Went on 5 minutes ago and got the 25th tickets, so hopefully they're around long enough for Sarah to get the 24th tickets too. No idea how large the allocation is, but out of the whole tour only milan is sold out so must be pretty big or not many people have noticed yet. The official sales through see and TM is on friday. Continuing my noctural James Bond marathon - what's the fuss with Goldfinger? Sure, the idea of detonating an atomic bomb in Fort Knox contaminating the U.S's stocks of gold (a highly valuable and radioactively absorbant material, as is well known) for an increase of your own stock value is ingenious, but as a film it's pretty boring. Oddjob is slightly cool though.

there are tooo many great things about all of the james bond films to nail 1 down as a fav. (i did try last night but on reflection......)

its just a great mix of great lead actors, great bond sidekicks (usually super hot ones), goofy extras (sheriff j.w. pepper), great cars, great plots, great locations, great baddies.

they are just great.....:D

Yeah, there's too many variables to nail down an absolute list, but so far i prefer 'From Russia With Love' to all the others i've seen. Connery was just sublime. I'm not particularly looking forward to some of the Roger Moore Bond's of the 80's but it shall be done.

roger was sublime in "live and let die" and also "view to a kill", "moonraker" was a bit of a turkey but you cant get it right all the time, oh yeah, and did i mention "the spy who loved me"....;)
if i were you i would not be relishing the dalton era - cardboard acting all the way, but then it gets much better - brosnan was superb and i definately think he had another one in him - they got shut too soon.

I liked Moore's 70's output - for a long time 'Live And Let Die' was my favourite Bond, but his 80's output was terrible in most parts. He looked completely geriatric in his final role before Dalton came in. And im in the minority who actually liked Dalton as a Bond although he was a little bit too stiff in places.

Brosnan is actually my favourite Bond but it's a shame he only got 2 decent films (the first 2). I think he'd have been superb in some of Moore's films, and definately in Lazenby's film, but Casino Royale wouldn't have suited his sophisticated style at all. Far too high impact for Brosnan to pull off IMO.

agreed, the new casino royale definately needed a younger bond so brosnan was out, but die another day was still a good way to bow out.
