I'm astounded at all the people who think it's a good idea and you will have a great view. At points you might, but for the most part no.

Think about it. Even if the stage rotates at 200mph and the band members spin indepently at a different speed, they are ALWAYS going to have thier backs to a large portion of the crowd. There will not be ONE SINGLE POINT where everyone in the arena can see the front/face of everyone. Not possible.
think of the atmosphere. the experience. for years to come you can look back and say "i was there".

just go...enjoy the show. be entertained. sing along. who fucking cares if you cant get the perfect view of your precious Dave Grohl for every milisecond of the show.

aw man, this is crazy - the more i think about it, the more it hurts.

this band, like many others before them, owe their success to a few very basic fundamental rules of music. stand on a stage and play good solid songs, and play them well - why oh why do we have to go down this whole 'round' route. katie is right - just get a stage, sell the tickets, turn up and play IN FRONT of the audience.

You know what. I've been thinking. I know some people think this whole "rotating stage" is a bit lame but I'm really quite looking forward to it because it's gonna be so different. I'll admit I'd be pretty pissed off if they decided to do it for a whole tour or something, but let's be honest, the kind of show they'll be playing at wembley isn't the kinda set any of us would be massively in love with anyway. I think it'll be a nice change, and we can all drink beer and eat ice cream and have fun in the sun. :)
