Urgh I can't stand him! I was standing near him when Dave said "this one's for you Zane" and he didn't even look up or really acknowledge he was getting a FUCKING FOO SONG dedicated to him. He had this too cool for skool vibe going on. Dick. He talks too much as well.

Looks like I was right. Band on the Run being played in the next hour on Radio 1!

Useless bunch of cunts.

Ok, so all of last week I was in London, right, and I got a text message on wednesday morning saying that they were going to attempt delivery on the thursday. I got onto the website and asked for a redelivery on saturday, thinking that my housemates would be in.

They weren't. That's missed attempt #1 and I accept that.

Then, without being requested, they tried to deliver again on tuesday afternoon even though on tuesday morning I had put through a request (which was confirmed) to have it delivered to my Mum and Dad's house this afternoon. And this request was put through before the cut-off time that they specify.

Ok, so now we're on today.

My Mum's in, at home, and has been all day - she's recovering from an operation - and just by chance she rang SMS to see whether the item was in transit or not and the guy on the end of the phone said they've been marked to be SENT BACK as there was a failed delivery at my Mum and Dad's house today. She called bullshit on it because she hasn't been out all day and has taken a courier delivery of something else and the postman so the lying little fuckers have faked a delivery and my Supermum caught them on it.

Told them in no uncertain terms that those fucking tickets better not be sent back or there'll be hell to pay.

Useless bunch of wankers the lot of them, fiddling the stats like that to make it look like my fault.

I'm panicking now that the tickets are going to go back, I can't remember if I've already received the Sheffield or Cardiff ones! If I missed Cardiff, I wouldn't be that arsed because I'm not 100% certain to go yet but I am definately going to Sheffield so it better not be them.

It's good that they use a safe delivery service to distribute the tickets. I mean, we pay enough for the privelege, but SMS are ridiculous. Pretty much everything they try and deliver must be taken back to their offices at the end of the day. In theory I've re-arranged mine for tomorrow... let's see if they turn up!!

I got ours on presale yesterday - I got 2 for Liverpool (me and Kat) and she got 5 for Manchester (me, Kat and 3 friends). That was truly the easiest presale ever - went on bang on 9am, was all sorted and confirmed within about 30 seconds to a minute. :)

Hey guys, just got back, but that was one hell of a show. Im not going to have a voice for days. I'm so happy they started the encore with my favorite song too (Aurora). So I was actually lucky enough to score a drumstick and the set list at the end of the show. I was looking for picks and i looked up at the stage and I just saw it flying right at me. Just right place at the right time. For all interested here is the set list:

Pretender
Cheer Up Boys
Times Like These
I'll Stick Around
Long Road to Ruin
Learn to Fly
Breakout
Skin + Bones
Marigold
My Hero
Come Alive
Cold Day (on set list but not played)
But, Honestly

Aurora
Let It Die

A man was in a long queue at his local Tesco store. As he got to the register he realized he had forgotten to get condoms, so he asked the checkout girl if she could have some brought up to the register.

She asked, 'What size condoms?' The customer replied that he didn't know.

She asked him to drop his trousers. He did.

She reached over the counter, grabbed hold of him and called over the intercom, 'One box of large condoms, Till 5.'

The next man in the queue thought this was interesting, and like most of us, was up for a cheap thrill. When he got up to the register, he told the checker that he too had forgotten to get condoms, and asked if she could have some brought to the register for him.

She asked him what size, and he stated that he didn't know. She asked him to drop his trousers.

He did.

She gave him a quick feel, picked up the intercom and said, 'One box of medium-sized condoms, Till 5.'

A few customers back was this teenage boy. He thought what he had seen was way too cool. He had never had any type of sexual contact with a live female, so he thought this was his chance.

When he got to the till he told the checker he needed some condoms.

She asked him what size and he said he didn't know.

She asked him to drop his trousers and he did.

She reached over the counter, gave him a quick squeeze then picked up the intercom and said...

'Mop and bucket, Till 5'

Nope, it must be the Sheffield one - the Manchester ones aren't coming directly to me, Bex bought them innit.
I've just checked, and neither of our tickets have been sent out yet, so it's fine. Did you send me anything yet? Just checking like, coz our post in Swansea is generally shit... :p

Don't most companies honour previously booked holidays?
Depends. I've just had to cancel a trip to London to see Joseph next month because the 2 days I already had booked the woman who covers me is already off. Bit gutted about that.

I'm trying to decide if I want to go see something at the Regent now that I have money. Status Quo want £31.50 for a ticket, so stuff them.
I've already decided against East 17, 911, McFly, Ray Quinn, Ben Mills and Take On That (a Take That tribute band).

Help me choose from the rest:

The Proclaimers
Thin Lizzy and Queensryche
The Jam (The Clash)
That guy who won Stars In Their Eyes as Freddie Mercury
Rainbow (https://online.ipswich.gov.uk/esro/images/events_pic/rainbow300.jpg)

dude, its gotta be the proclaimers - my bro's band supported them about 20 years ago in liverpool uni (mountford hall) and it was fuckin banana's.
i only knew 2 songs and i swear they just turned up and played those 2 songs over and over again - or maybe it was the student union bar prices that made it seem like that.

Eh?

is it the real thing? a tribute?

cos Paul Weller doesn't play with the Jam anymore so it wouldn't be the same.
and Joe Strummer is dead, so i'm sure it isn't the clash...

Two out of three original members of The Jam, Bruce Foxton and Rick Buckler reformed earlier this year and their 20 date May tour sold out instantly. This autumn due to popular demand, they embark on an even bigger tour, performing all the Jam’s greatest hits and more to fanatical fans across the country. The crowd and critical response in May was nothing short of phenomenal and now, in the year that marks the 25 anniversary of the original band’s final performance, the songs sounds as fresh and original as ever. Don’t miss this chance to hear That’s Entertainment, Going Underground, Start and A Town Called Malice live, and brilliant as ever.

evening all.

*hands behind back, heels together, feet at ten to two and bends knees*

just been debating, due to the fact that i have to sell my kt tunstall (liverpool uni) tickets coz its the same date as manc. foo, should i try to buy some for the apollo - its really not a bad gig (for a fan of guitarists) but the apollo is a bit bigger and less, y'know' small and up close - i will make my mind up next week.
