Does anyone have any MP4 (video) files or MP3 (music) files of the Foos at hand? I just got a PSP, and those are the two types of files it plays, and I desperatly need me some Foo material. I just want normal stuff, no live shows or anything.

So, if you have any Foo Fighter music videos in MP4 format (or can get them in MP4 format for me) please post it here...I would appreciate it beyond words!

And, if you have any Foo Fighter songs in MP3 format, I would equally appreciate it! The only MP3's I'm looking for are:

In Your Honor
All My Life
DOA
The Last Song
Big Me
Times Like These
Learn to Fly
What if I do?
Miracle

Even if you can give me just one of these, I would greatly appreciate it! Again, any MP4 and any MP3's from the list.

Thank you so much!!:D

you can use windows media player to rip mp3's of existing cd's. So if you own those songs on cd you're sorted!

Basketcase..

I just want actual music videos, really. Absolutely any of their videos would suffice, but I'd really like Big Me, Times Like These, and Learn to Fly. But if you have some good quality live stuff, I will gladly take them! Thanks!:D

Weenie Beenie- I do own their cd's, but when I rip them to Windows Media Player, it saves them as 'wma' files. How do I rip them as MP3's? I'm quite new to all this, so any help would be greatly appreciated!:D

Thanks guys!

I'm not familiar with those shows at all, unfortunetly. I'm going to buy the Everywhere But Home umd, so that'll cover live stuff for me. Thanks.

No Way Back is also the only MP4 video I have!:( But, please, whenever you get ahold of other MP4 Foo music videos, please post them here!

just open the windows media player settings and click on 'copy music'. then change the format from wma to mp3 aaaaaaaaaaaand done.maybe adjust the quality to 128/160/192.
btw there are tons of free rippers on the net, just try 'free mp3 ripper' on google.

Search for WinAVI MP4 Converter. You can convert all kinds of video to MP4 using that, with not much loss in quality. :)

Thank you, everyone! I will try all your suggestions!:D

FriendlyFoo- I tried your suggestion, and it says I have to pau $9.95 to add an option for 'MP3' in the menu. Is this correct? Or is there a way to get it free?

Dutch Foo- I will certainly check out what you have given me! Thank you! :)

Nai- I will try that! Thanks so much!

I use this program all the time for my video ipod. And they have a version of it specifically for the PSP. It converts basically any video file to the right for mat. I would definitly recommend it.

really? thats new to me. do you use the 'microsoft media player'??? which verison? i use ver.10 and it works fine.

Another option is the excellent mp3 tool 'exact audio copy' in combination with the lame mp3-encoder.

'exact audio copy' can be found here: http://www.exactaudiocopy.de/ (the installer version of it)
lame (encoding into mp3): http://www.mpex.net/software/download/lamedll.html

download both files. extract the lame-files (zip file) into a folder(name and position of the folder are unimportant). now install exact audio copy, it will localize your cdrom drive(s) and search for the lame.exe file unzipped before.
done.

its a great proggie with various mp3 tools, and really good ripping quality!

Boy, I remember the old days when my family used to sit around our CD player in the living room and my poor father would weep bitterly because MP3 hadn't been invented yet. He worked his ass off at the office to come home and have to settle for inconvenience of the compact disc. Dark days, those were. I don't know how my mother kept us all together.
