Best of You Karaoke/Instrumental

Hi.......

I've recently heard by someone on the postboard that BOY instrumental was released and I wondered if anybody had the real version (you know, not a cover, but rather the real version) shown on MTV Making The Video or the promo for 24 Hours of Foo..... (or from an editing program)

So I was wondering does anybody have it???

An instrumental-only version hasn't been released and probably won't be released. Instrumentals are almost always reserved for promo stuff for MTV and other big media players. THEY get access to it, WE do not.

Depending on how a modern song is mixed, you might be able to strip out the vocals using an audio plugin for Sound Forge or Audacity.

Just note that "stripping the vocals" and "making it karaoke" removes the midrange of the track which partially includes instrumentation. Since part of the music gets destroyed, the track could end up sounding really screwy.

In short, just try to harmonize with Grohl's voice like the rest of us.

Ack, I remember not long after BOY came out, somebody posted it but I deleted it off my hard drive, sorry.
Although you could still the vocals in a way, it was weird...I have some software that could probably do it, I'll have a play with it over the weekend if I can.
