I noticed some features of the board don't work (such as lost password information), so I don't know if the bbs became a subdomain without also going into the control panel and actually changing the board's URL in the scripting or whatever. For the most part the board functions fine, but I don't know if that needs to be changed because some things are still referred to as foofighters.com/bbs/ .

Another way to solve this problem is don't forget your password. ;)

And we're glad he does. Sendmail may have stopped running on the server. Have you seen specific instances where links are still pointing to foofighters.com/bbs, or was that just speculation as to the problem with emails not going out?

Well I don't know the routing of the different features whether or not it uses the ../ to go to the page linked to it or whether it uses the board url listed in the control panel general settings for the board. I am not familiar with this board so I have no clue how you'd change it to bbs.foofighters as opposed to foofighters.com/bbs . When I was looking for my password, that site was foofighters.com/bbs so I changed it to bbs.foofighters.com/lostpw or whatever it was and the page worked, the e-mail didn't go through though. So maybe all the mail isn't going out because it gets the url from the one defined in the settings, which had changed. I think it as an assumption worth looking that. Either you can change it from the subdomain back to the original URL for the board. Or maybe look around the control panel if you can change it through that. I know on the old Invision Powerboard ones you had to locate a file and manually edit the page. If you can't find it and bought the board legitimately (I'd assume) then you can just ask for help directly from vbulletin.
I probably could have said that more concisely.

EDIT: It's so easy to fix. In the control panel -> vBulletin Options -> Second thing down it says Site Name / URL / Contact Details
if you select that you can edit the URL and that might solve the problem...

EDIT AGAIN: While I'm at it...You can still post replies in letters to the band also, you used to be able to post images in the Music Equipment discussion. That's how it was on the old board, I think you should be able to post pictures in that forum. No one abuses the ability to reply, so that doesn't really need to be changed I guess.

Not according to the admin settings... you can only post replies to your own posts in that forum. at first glance, it looks like there are 0 replies the threads for at least the last 2 weeks (that's as far as i bothered looking).

oh I see...it just said you may post replies on the bottom left, I never attempted to actually post. At that point it didn't work. So nevermind about that part.
