Cold day in the Sun - Taylor - St Gallen 1/7/05

Here is my first attempt at posting some footage of the St Gallen gig. It’s basically Taylor and Cold Day in the Sun. Enjoy…..but…..before you try and download this file, please note the following:

1. This footage was filmed using a Olympus C-760 Digital Camera. This camera does not allow for zoom while in video record mode.
2. This file is 74mb, I was going to compress it further but didn’t want to lose any more quality. For what it is it’s ok.
3. I was trying to keep a steady hand, but if you have been to a Foo’s show at the front I think that I done quite well.

This was an amazing gig and I couldn’t film it all as I wanted to enjoy it too. I do have some other footage but I’m using this one as a test.

Another great video mate! Anyone else think that playing this tune (before I say this I'll say I love it) at shows is a way for Taylor to get used to front-man status ahead of a Coattail Riders tour?

Wouldn't it be fucking killer if Dave was the drummer for that tour??!

Two other observations:

Chris totally shreds at the end of the solo - why doesn't he do more of this?

Dave says 'DO IT' and not QUDDUS before the song. QUDDUS is tired already anyways...

That's exactly what I think. It certainly would be killer if Dave was the drummer but I'm not sure it'll happen!

have you got the latest version on quicktime? if not right click on the file and open in windows media, it may work.
