I have to say that I'm pumped up. I get to hear the New Billy Talent record today. I was bale to catch them at the Horseshow I guess it would have been about a month ago now. So heraing the new stuff live was killer and it will be great to hear how it translates on the record. I'll let you guys know what it's like.

Ok...so the new Billy Talent record....hang on just because you didn't like the first record doesn't mean you won't like this one. This one...WOW. It's a very very good record. Less screaming and more singing. More harmonies from Ian, even a poppy sound (think poppy like Lithium poppy). All and all a monster of a release. Devil in a Midnight mass prob has the most screaming on the record. I'd say there are at least five songs that could be singles on this record. I asked when they would be back in Canada (other then warped) It looks like them and Rise Against will be trading headlining spots (Rise in the US, Then BT here in Canada) the CDN part of the tour will most likely be in FEB. So a long wait...but worth it for sure. It was great to see the guys again...truely great guys that signed everything for every one and talked with every one for a couple of hours. I talked Wine with Ben (I have no idea about wine and he loves the stuff) So I figured who better to ask. But back to the record....It's a great record and going to be huge for them.

I really do like them, there are some songs that I didn't care for too much but they are awesome live. And Ben is one of the nicest guys! AND he was at the Lee's Palace Foo show so you know he has good taste :D

Also, I was at Radiohead at the Hummingbird Centre on Wenesday and my seats were amazing. My Radiohead seats are just about 6 seats to the right of where I'm sitting for the Foos, its going to be amazing. This is probably the concert I'm looking forward to the most now since Radiohead is done. Anyone here hitting up that Olympic Island festival with Broken Social Scene and Bloc Party? I've got tickets to see 311 and Brand New as well but its the Foo's Im looking forward to most right now.

I definitely thought the same thing about the whole Queen thing. I am sorry, but you just can't replace Freddie Mercury, there is no one that can sing like he did. But I must agree Dave and Taylor drumming with Queen was a cool thing to see.

I hit the Taking Back Sunday/Angels And Airwaves show last night. I was very impressed. I had read all the Hyde Park stuff about Tom Delonge preaching a lot and I expected the same. But was not the case. The band sounded great and I was really impressed. I've seen Taking Back Sunday twice and both times was dissappointed with Adam's voice. Not this time they were unreal good. Not a full Molson Amp Theatre....but still a solid crowd. All and all a killer show.......also what the hell is with the $10.25 beers....kills me

Yeah just "Original Fire" on tuesday. I think the song will be released to radio at about 10 am. But Edge might wait untill later in day to air it. It's up to each station when they air it.

Like Watershed Freak says "Revelations" drops into stores on Sept 5th. So a long time to have a single out before a record. Tom Morello is calling the single "Original Fire" as hard-rocking, but with a '70s funk and soul influence".

Now what will the record sound like....Mr Morello "An ass-kicker". Morello said he experimented with overdubs and worked with different guitars and amps "to create different colors." The end result, he said, is a record that "sounds like Led Zeppelin meets Earth, Wind & Fire."

Zeppelin Meets Earth Wind And Fire......ok.....have to say I'm interested to say the least.

Looks like we will see a couple of Acoustic preformances on TV soon. Foos are booked for The Tonight Show on August 11th and then on Letterman either Aug 6th or Sept 6th (it lists them as both right now).

Brand New was one of the few bands I really want to see that I still have yet to see, so I was super hyped to see them. Unfortunately they didn't live up to the hype. They were good, just not as good as I thought they were going to be. They played three new tunes, demo 6 and 8 and a new song. I believe the new song is called Take Apart Your Head? Well, anyway it was a decent show and I was able to sell the two extra tickets I had so I didn't lose any cash. It was a solid weekend, I also went to a Jays/Yanks game on Sunday. Needless to say Im super broke now and Friday (pay day) can't come soon enough.

I am getting so pumped for this show!!!! It's going to be awesome. Are we still planning to meet up before? Or just at the show inside somewhere?

Anyways, I was wondering if anyone had an extra ticket or 2. As you all know all we could get was 2. So my dad is taking my sister and I but doesn't have a ticket for himself. He likes the Foos and his birthday is in Aug so I thought that it would be nice if I suprised him with a ticket so that he didn't have to sit in the truck. Ok...this is a rough guess because I've never noticed that. But my guess is that it is to cut down time. They would do a radio edit. With a shorter song it just makes radio more enticed to play it. Since "Save Your Scissors", I think the radio edit is still four and a half minutes they prob cut it down to try to get more stations to play it. I know that the second single "Comin Home" which is like a five minute song on the Cd is cut down to three fourty. That's my guess at least.

Its August! only 3 more weeks till Foo! I am very excited as I'm sure you all are as well. For the first time I'm not going to have to drive 8 hours or so to see them. Even though I'd drive any distance:D I just moved down here to London Ontario, from Thunder Bay with my fiance. We're going come to TO in the morning of the 23rd and make a day of it. Does anyone know yet at all if the Foo's are going to be making any appearences around town that day? I know they played at the radio station last year. Just curious if any of you have heard anything about them.

Who else is here is about to pass out from this heat!? I hope it cools off soon! haha

I think I may be in Toronto the day before this concert as well. Anyone here going to see Chappelle at Massey Hall? He just added a third date on the 22nd. So I guess me and my buddies are going to hit that and then see the Foos acoustic the next day. Can't wait, only problem is I can't book off time form work. My band STRAWMAN is playing tonite at Healey's - cover is a measly $5. We go on at 10pm.

We've got an alt-rock vibe, and as a huge Foo fan and the drummer I like to think I bring a Dave/Taylor vibe to the rhythm section.

Come early and we can rap about the upcoming acoustic show.

I live about 1/2 hr from London, where there was a funnel cloud. There was nothing near me, just lots of wind and rain.

i think small hand held cameras will be accepted, but no doubt might be taken (pssst do the crotch thing)... im thinkin about buyin two disposable cameras (to put in 2 places, one gone, one left)

just go early, stay after is your best bet to meet them

I have a ticket to the show but unfortunately can't go....i can't get the days off work, fucking government :mad: . (It's in ORCH 11, so an awesome seat for anyone interested).

I printed the ticket on my own computer rather than have it mailed to me and I wanted to know if there would be any problem if someone else used the print-off to get in. I vaguely remember hearing something about that being an issue but can't remember exactly what it was.
