I asked about the seats to the show that had been sold. They said that the seats would be honoured when the show does happen.

Both sponsor-sales AND BOX sales have already occurred (anyone who owns a box at each venue) and there have been no notifications of a delay of the shows... club seat & season ticket holders should be notified soon I'd think.

Seems like they're just taking their sweet time announcing the shows to the public.

you can only use credit cards by phone or on the site. the only way you can use debit or cash is if you go to a ticketmaster centre the day they go on sale..

I wouldn't rely on JUST the newsletter... It's notorious for being a day or two late.

I would check with your local radio station to see if they are doing a presale... both the london and toronto shows are having radio pre-sales (in addition to the iTunes presale).

Ottawa never really sells out seats quickly so I was quite shocked to see that there were no floors remaining. Montreal was messed up too, they don't give you where your seats are located, so I thought I may have had floors but didnt want to chance it because there are no details of what your seats are when you search for tickets.

Montreal was messed up too, they don't give you where your seats are located, so I thought I may have had floors but didnt want to chance it because there are no details of what your seats are when you search for tickets.

I don't know if I want to go for floors or seats, since it's going to be bloody freezing in march, and I don't know if I want to stand in the cold for 6-8 hours. Yeah well for the philly show never even got an email. What's really insane is that they are listing ALL the presale code on myspace bulletins. They are sent to all 400,000+ "friends" of the Foo Fighters.

I have been a fan of the Foos since 1995. Since then I have only been to one show, at the Ampitheatre in 2005. I have been so excited about this show since the summer. I missed the pre-sale because I was waiting to hear from my friend if he wanted me to grab tickets for him as well. Then I logged in yesterday at exactly noon, and got nothing but 300s. I tried for 1/2 an hour, and got nothing. I have never been so disappointed in my life! I can only hope that they announce a second show, or else it looks like I'm waiting another 2 years to see them.

I saw Against Me at Coachella this summer but didnt know anythign about them at the time. Their new album is solid and Trash Unreal has to be one of my fave songs this year. Reminds me alot of Jawbreaker's Kiss The Bottle in storytelling abilities.

Give the album a listen, trust me it's a great punk rock record. Many people I know are saying it's one of their Fav's of the year. I love it to say the least. Yeah Thrash Unreal has worn on me a bit...but still a soild record all & all.

I missed them in T.O but many people I know went and they thought they great. So you might just be surprised when you see them. I know I'm going to be there for them both London & T.O!!

Stupid question of the year but...
I have been to a few rock shows with GA floor arrangement in the past. Don't recall having section numbers for tickets before. I bought two floors for the ACC show at the presale. Had to do two seperate orders to get the tix. I have 1 GA Floor in section 1 and one GA Floor in Section#2. What is the deal? I thought it is either General Admission or not. Otherwise it is not really general, ya know?
Any guidance would be appreciated.

I could only get seats for the ACC - but by a coincidence, I am in LA the beginning of March so got floors for the San Diego show. I get there that morning, will probably be so jet lagged from a 21 hour flight back from Australia- but it's going to be awsome. Had I known I would have booked my flight later so I could go to the LA show instead, but San Diego isn't that far away.

Taylor was right when he said they were there to please the crowd. Although I must say part of me misses Aurora or Hey! Johnny Park. But I won't complain. I am kinda surprised that Statues or Home isn't in there. I figured they would put a new ballad in there.

Why must Learn to Fly stay on the set list time after time...I'd love to see anything in its place. I know it is a "hit" for them or whatever but I could do with out it!

Set list looks pretty good but they are leaving out so many good songs. Iwould rather hear a really good FF song like Hey! JP, Free Me, In Your Honor etc instead of the Arcade Fire cover....I know I'll take a lot of heat for that comment.

Hopefully they will be back for a late summer/early fall show at the Amp theatre.

I know they never would, but I wish they would play Summer's End. Its probably my fave song on the album at the moment (along with Stranger Things)

I could care less about an Arcade Fire cover. I think they are a pretentious band and I don't care for their music at all. There are plenty of songs I'd rather see in there as well. But maybe seeing the cover live will change my mind.

They never really change up the set list too much. It's not like Pearl Jam and a totally different set list each night. I don't see them playing too much else. I mean really what are they going to change? They promised a fan friendly hits set list and thats what they are giving looking at the set lists. But who knows what might happen. We can hope they switch it up. they still have a month a half before they are here.

I'm pretty excited about the setlists from the few 2008 shows so far. I know there going to play the "hits", and I'm OK with that, but I don't understand why they feel the need to play "The One". I think its one of there crappier songs and should be replaced with one of their other singles like DOA, No Way Back, or other older setlist regulars like Hey JP, New Way Home. But I guess complaining about 1 song that I don't like is pretty insignificant when were talking about 2 hours of live Foo!

I must say I was dissappointed. There was something that wasn't right. I think the mix was off. It ddin't sound near as good as the indoor performances. I understand its outside and it's a different world. I also don't think that the whole orchestra thing didn't work for the Pretender.
